More Computational Sculpture

Yet another example of the aesthetics of mechanical computers, this time from Danny Hillis. The 10,000 Year Clock project was intended to “build a monument scale, multi-millennial, all mechanical clock as an icon to long term thinking.” Amusingly, it’s also billed as the world’s slowest computer.
