Atom API Programming Contract
oponia is looking for a seasoned Java programmer to help develop a web application which leverages the Atom Publishing Protocol. (Yes, we know it's not final yet, but we'll take our chances.) Experience with lightweight Java application design is essential—no EJB's here. Things that would be nice are Spring, Hibernate, and syndication experience, but if you've got the right chops the lack of particular buzzwords on your resume won't be held against you.
The terms of the contract are to be negotiated. Our offices are in Toronto, but we don't care where you live as long as your communications skills are up to the task of remote working.
If you're interested, you can send me your resume (fridgebuzz@gmail.com). Or—since resumes are of dubious value in many cases—you can also just compose a compelling message about why you're right for the job.
